Abdullahi Yusuf serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ParaNET. With extensive experience in community development and advocacy, Abdullahi provides strategic leadership to drive our mission forward. He is instrumental in shaping our programs, forging key partnerships, and ensuring the successful execution of our initiatives aimed at empowering pastoralist communities and promoting their rights.
Ahmed Adan is the Program Officer at ParaNET. With over 5 years of experience in advocacy, he has been instrumental in implementing successful initiatives to support marginalized communities, especially pastoralists. His responsibilities include managing program activities, oversees the paralegal team, enhancing community engagement, and ensuring effective legal support.
Halima Abdinoor has been the accountant at ParaNET since January 2024. With a degree in Business Management from Mount Kenya University, she manages the organization’s financial operations, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Her role is crucial in supporting ParaNET’s advocacy efforts and maintaining financial integrity.
Abdullahi Dekow has been a valuable paralegal at ParaNET since November 2021. With a strong passion for the law and extensive experience in legal research, document preparation, and case management, Abdullahi excels in navigating complex legal issues. Rahma Ahmed has been a paralegal at ParaNET since November 2021. In her role, she is dedicated to supporting the community by sharing her knowledge about documentation and encouraging active citizenship. Rahma focuses on advocating for pastoralists’ rights, ensuring their concerns are documented and their voices are heard. She holds a diploma in Public Administration from Gretsa University.
Noor Farah joined ParaNET in 2021 as a paralegal. Over the past three years, he has played a key role in advancing ParaNET’s mission by providing legal support and expertise. He has been instrumental in enhancing ParaNET’s community engagement initiatives, helping to educate the community about legal rights and responsibilities. Noor’s work has significantly contributed to addressing local challenges and ensuring that ParaNET’s objectives are effectively met.
Mahada Hussein Ali has been a paralegal at ParaNET since November 2021. Holding a diploma in Record Keeping from Beam International College, she plays a key role in managing records and assisting pastoralist communities with obtaining essential legal documents such as birth certificates, IDs, and passports.
Hamdi Ibrahim has been a dedicated paralegal with ParaNET since November 2020. Her primary focus is on assisting community members with documentation and guiding them through the process of obtaining full citizenship. With a diploma in Secretarial Studies from North Eastern National Polytechnic, Hamdi brings valuable skills and knowledge to her role.
Omar Abdi has been a paralegal at ParaNET since January 2024. In this role, he provides critical support by guiding community members on documentation and legal processes.
